Dear Mr. Mayle,

September.

Thanks for your letter of the 20th

I am sorry to bother you again, but my daughter, who is looking after my passport etc., is very uneasy about these inoculations.

"

I am as you know, continually on the move and if it needs, as in some cases, three weeks to elapse between having your inoculation and entering the country, I may be caught as I was when going to Addis Ababa and I had to spend a fortnight in wasting my precious time.

Cairo

I have a list of my inoculations up-to-date, and would like to be able to hand them over to some one who could tell me the following: -

(1) What inoculations I need.

(2)

How long must elapse between

an inoculation and immunity?

(3) What is the potency of the shots

which I require?

I find one's ordinary medical practioner

can administer these inoculations, but he knows nothing about the regulations.
